I am a local campaigner for Friends Of The Earth, North Somerset (NSFOE)and I am launching "green Drinks" on May 14, 8pm at the Old Barn pub in Nailsea. This is a very informal way of networking with like minded people and it would be good to have some Long Ashton people come along. This is very similar to the Bristol Green Drinks. From the NSFOE perspective, we are against new road building (e.g.the Bristol ring road) and the Yanley housing development - wrong type of houses in the wrong place. We also want to protect the green belt and believe that our green belt has been eroded over the years (but do not have the facts to support this belief yet!).
